Much of the dynamism of the Irish nation has been dissipated over centuries of poverty and emigration. The return of descendants of emigrants to their homeland is a natural step in the rebuilding of the nation. At present non-Irish people from countries diverse as Germany, Congo, Netherlands and Nigeria have or can acquire more rights to live in Ireland than people who are ethnically Irish. This is a ludicrous situation...and the Ireland First Movement is campaigning to have it redressed. How are we carrying on this campaign? Right now we are raising public awareness in Ireland of the issues involved. And we are looking for support and, (yes!) contributions to our campaigns from the Irish abroad.
